Born and raised in South Africa to a Property Developer/Investor/Hotelier father, Mirie Linton has the ideal foundation in the real estate industry.
Her father also owned the largest painting and flooring company in the Southern Cape, and taught her the value of commitment, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. After graduation, Mirie won one of three National Balletomanes scholarships to UCT (University of Cape Town), and eventually pursued a 20+ year career in Advertising, Communications and Marketing. She worked for large international firms such as FCB Global and then ran her own online advertising agency, eMETHOD.
After marrying Paul and starting a family in 2004, they purchased several pieces of land and built custom crafted homes. Thus Mirie's passion for home projects, architecture and design was rekindled. Mirie then took her entrepreneurial spirit and love for property development to the real estate market and has since become a licensed Nevada Real Estate Agent and REALTOR® with eXp Realty.
She relocated to Reno, Nevada with her husband and two children in 2016, and is an active community member. Mirie serves on the PFA board of Roy Gomm ES and enjoys going to soccer practices with her son, figure skating with her daughter, wine tasting with her husband and helping feral cats ;D When covid subsides, she plans to go back to the gym. She was a competitive fitness athlete - placed 2nd at the 2015 WBFF South African Championships in Johannesburg and 5th at the 2015 WBFF World Amateur Championships in Las Vegas.
