About Me About John Peel...... I have been a Nevada and California Realtor since the spring of 1989. Originally from North Carolina, I graduated from East Carolina University near the top of my class earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing, accounting and finance. I successfully completed every real estate course offered in the curriculum at East Carolina. I have continued my education by attending numerous real estate courses throughout my career, taught by the foremost experts in their field. I hold one of the most prestigious designations for residential Realtors, the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) held by only 5 % of the Realtors in the country. I have also earned the coveted "Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist" designation in recognition of my experience, knowledge and expertise in the luxury home market. After graduation in May of 1972, I moved to the south shore of Lake Tahoe to spend a winter pursuing my love for snow skiing. I quickly discovered the outdoor paradise of this unbelievably beautiful area. I secured a waiter's position in the theatre-restaurant at Harrah's to work evenings and have my days free. In 1982 I was promoted to a Captain's position responsible for the supervision of seating and customer service. Tahoe real estate has always been a passion. I purchased my first home in 1974 in Al Tahoe at the age of 23, built a Sierra Tract duplex at 24, designed and built a Summit Village duplex at 26 and designed and built a 5 level lake view home in Middle Kingsbury in 1980. I have watched the majority of the Tahoe Basin being built and have witnessed its successes and its failures. The largest impact came when our local environmental agency assumed control of the growth of the Basin late in 1980. My family currently resides on the east shore in Skyland, a beautiful lakefront community. In order to be an active participant in my neighborhood and community, I now serve as a Trustee on the Tahoe Douglas Sewer District Board and the Skyland General Improvement District. Over the years I have specialized in selling primarily residential properties from ski condos to lakefronts. The fiduciary relationship established when representing buyers and sellers is one I take very seriously. My objective is simple; to earn a lifetime relationship. I help you make the right decision through education, extensive market knowledge, experience, attention to detail, honesty and integrity, all tendered with patience; no pressure. I take tremendous pride in the fact the majority of my business is generated from referrals from prior clients and other Realtors. My consistent sales production each and every year reflects a personal dedication of focusing on client and customer needs and fulfilling those needs above and beyond their expectations. I am available seven days a week, 12 or more hours a day.
