Jody was born, raised, and educated in Montreal, Canada. She then relocated to Squaw Valley, California where, as Chief Radiographer at the Squaw Valley Medical Clinic, she x-rayed and cared for countless injured skiers. This is where she acquired her passion for skiing and the mountains.

Four decades in the Tahoe-Truckee area attest to Jody's love and knowledge of the high Sierra. She has won recognition as Realtor® of the year in 1999, was a director of the Tahoe-Sierra Board of Realtors from 1996 until 2001, and served as President of the Board in 2003. Most recently, she was awarded the 2012 CRS Realtor of the year for the Sierra Nevada CRS Chapter.
